We are now offering three different levels of Membership:

• Thomas Stanton Society Annual Membership. Annual membership entitles the member to receive the periodic TSS Newsletter and an invite to the tri-annual reunion of the Society held in Stonington, CT. Annual membership dues are $10 and payable January 1. The primary requirement for membership is to fill out the membership application and show your descendancy from Thomas Stanton born 1616 and married to Anna Lord. Membership approval will come from the Membership Chairman, currently Gerald Cole. Membership application form.

Thomas Stanton Society Life Membership. The requirements and benefits for the life membership are the same as the annual membership except for a one-time payment of $100 is required. You will receive a certificate of your life time membership. If you wish to become a life member, download and complete the membership application form and return it with $100 payment to the Membership Chairman. Membership application form.

• Thomas Stanton Society Associate Membership. Associate membership entitles the member to receive the periodic TSS Newsletter and an invite to the tri-annual reunion of Stantons held in Stonington, CT. Associate membership dues are $10 and payable January 1. This category is for those who cannot meet the pedigree requirement. It has all the benefits of annual membership except the associate member cannot vote or hold office. Membership approval will come from the Membership Chairman, currently Gerald Cole.   Termination of membership. In the event of unpaid dues for a full year after having received notice of unpaid dues, your status will be changed to Inactive Member. Inactive Memers will not receive the TSS Newsletter. Active Membership can be restored by the catch-up payment of back dues or payment of lifetime member dues. TSS will send electronic (via computer) back issues of the newsletter if catch-up payments are made.

  The current administration encourages the payment of dues for at least three years duration ($30) to reduce the bookkeeping required.
